III. INTRODUCTION

Our group is very young research group. We are interested in biomaterials for implant and artificial bone applications. Specifically, we are conducting the following research topics:

  • Improve and control the biodegradable rate and H2 released rate during biodegradation process of Mg alloys coated with Hydroxyapatite or polymers;
  • Improve the biocompatibility of Mg alloys by surface coatings;
  • Improve the mechanical integrity of Mg alloys by grain-refinement and surface coatings;
  • Interaction between nanoparticles and mammalian cells focused on cellular uptake, cytotoxicity, signal transductio pathway;
  • Establish bioactive treatment for artificial bone made of Titanium;
  • Investigation of apatite formation, protein absorption, cell activity on the treated Ti;

IV. RECRUITMENT

We are looking for potential candidates for the position of researcher, postdoc, doctoral student to work on biomaterials for implant, artificial bone, tissue engineering, drug delivery systems. For more details, please see announcement.
